Lew Weitzman and I had spearheaded a program that has focused attention on the proposed development at 200 CambridgePark Drive, near the MBTA Alewife T Station near the Cambridge/Arlington border.

This site is adjacent to the Alewife Brook Reservation, a protected wetland reserve run by the MDC.

With technical help from Craig Kelley, public-support-gathering help from Ralph Yoder (and others), and legal assistance from Denise Guerin, we were able to come to a settlement. The following two articles by Lew appear in the Cambridge Chronicle as a column and letter to the editor, respectively:

Seeking compromise in Alewife - Apr 1, 1999

Genetics, Alewife neighbors compromise - May 27, 1999
